Ballater is a lovely, picturesque village which lies approximately forty miles to the west of Aberdeen. The village is centred around a green where pipe bands regularly play throughout the summer.

There are a wide range of shops and restaurants, many of which display Royal Warrants. It is an ideal base for walking, shooting, fishing, gliding and winter sports.
